Create an environment that empowers everyone to succeed

It’s well accepted that behavior change is an essential ingredient for achieving lifelong health and wellness goals. In fact, the ACE Mover Method provides many actionable steps to help professionals equip and empower their clients to accomplish sustainable behavior change in a one-to-one setting. However, group fitness instructors don’t typically have the luxury of significant individual time with each participant. This has made it tricky to incorporate behavior change into group fitness—until now.

Introducing the ACE RRAMP (Respect, Recognition, Alignment, Mistakes and Participant) Approach™. Learn a unique class design and delivery system that applies to any format and any participant. Experience how simple it can be to turn group experiences into personal ones to help improve health, fitness and overall quality of life through positive behavior change. Explore the science behind how this approach was created and why it works, and leave with actionable steps to implement it throughout every class experience you teach.

Developed by Sabrena Jo, PhD, ACE Exercise and Health Scientist, ACE Certified Group Fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer, and Health Coach, the ACE RRAMP Approach was created to help give you a higher success rate of ensuring both new and veteran class participants enjoy their experience, return for more, and bring in their friends. This course, co-authored by Shannon Fable, who’s spent more than two decades working with well-known brands such as Anytime Fitness, FIT4MOM and BOSU, and led by Staci Alden, ACE Certified Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer, will keep your career growing as an in-demand group fitness instructor across any class format you choose.

Upon completion, you will be able to:

  • Understand how Respect, Recognition, Alignment, Mistakes and Participant are critical steps when creating a caring and task involving climate that fosters success
  • Implement each step in your classes with your own cues, behaviors and programming
  • Identify the opportunities during and after class to apply the ACE RRAMP Approach
  • Create a plan of action to slowly and consistently introduce each element to your classes
